Car description

1965 Corvette 396 coupe

I have owned this car for 23 years and recently finished a full chassis, suspension and drive train restoration. Most of the major components were professionally restored by some of the best in the business.

The drive train is numbers matching. Motor was professionally rebuilt using quality parts from GM, Manley, TRW, ARP and Comp Cams, etc.

Original 962 block, casting date C-17-5. Pad stamped T0422IF 5116811

Original 208 Heads dated B-25-5 & C-4-5

Original 963 Intake

Original Exhaust manifolds dated C-19-5 & C-20-5

Original Holey 3124 Carb. Dated 524 Restored by Vintage Musclecar Parts

Original 696 Alternator 5D8 Restored by Ken Bruno

Original Water Pump Dated C-13-5 Rebuilt by Arthur Gould Rebuilders

Original Air cleaner

Original Transmission S116811 Restored by 4 Speeds by Darrel

Original Rear End Dated 3-31-65 Rebuilt by Bairs Corvette in PA

Original Steering box rebuilt by Bairs Corvette in PA

New NOS GM Side exhaust not after market or reproduction.

Suspension:

Front: All new upper and lower A-arm bushings, Ball Joints, Tie Rods. Coil springs and shocks.

Rear : Trailing Arms professionally restored by Bairs Corvette in PA

Brakes : Original master cylinder rebuilt by Karps. All new Brake lines, Restored calipers and original brake rotors confirming a low mileage car.

Exterior:

Body is solid with no evidence of any damage. The paint is more than 25 years old, single stage, with some checking and chips here and there. Original chrome on the bumpers, original grill, original hub caps are in beautiful condition, all the emblems are new.

Interior:

The interior is all original and unrestored except for new carpet and seat belts. All gauges function properly. Original clock runs great, radio works but has some static.

I restored this car to be a dependable driver that can be enjoyed and kept it as original as possible. I have driven it 500 miles since completed. The car runs great and is a blast to drive, everything on the car works like it should. Please contact me with serious inquires and I can provide more information on any questions you may have. Thank you.
