Car description |

1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Garage-Kept survivor Monte Carlo with 84K original miles. This is a mechanically maintained, unrestored example that was kept by the same owner until 2016. 5.0 V8 with 4bbl. carburetor, automatic transmission, cold air conditioning (134a) tilt wheel, cruise control, AM/FM Stereo, factory road wheels with newer matching B.F. Goodrich T/As. Everything functions properly including the clock. Always starts right up, choke engages, tracks straight down the highway with no weird shakes, shimmies or pulling. No squeaks or rattles. A great car. Be sure to look through the detailed photos, video & call Bob direct 214 770-0437 with questions. Interior condition is amazing. Dash has absolutely no cracks. No cracks on the armrests, crisp surfaces on display panel, the door panels are not scratched or oxidized. Rear package tray is not faded or cracked, excellent headliner. No mysterious stains or odors. Weatherstripping is soft & supple. No fancy blue tooth or entertainment system, but it is actually relaxing to watch the clock's second hand ticking at red lights. Exterior shows amazingly well. Original paint with the factory painted pinstripes. All of the body panels match up correctly. The clearcoat on the top surfaces has started to haze, also known as "laquer crack", too subtle to photograph. This was a common issue on vehicles from this generation. The general consensus seems to be "leave it original!". The glass, including the windshield is all the original LOF; no wiper scratches or chips in the windshield - no vertical scratches on the side windows. Clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report.
