Car description

I've had this truck for quite a few years, ut have not street driven it in 2 years. It's only been used to plowmy driveway, nd haul wood. Just moved on to other interests so I'm letting it go. Truck is a 86' Chevy K30 military CUCV. The engine is a 80's Cummins 4BT with rotary injection pump. Engine top end has been gone thru with a Brand new head, nd newstock injectors. Starts and runs excellent, ven in cold weather. No grid heater, ust the stock block heater. Has never failed to start in cold weather. Transmission is a 5 speed NV4500 from a 98' Chevy3500, ith Dodge input shaft, nd Dodge bellhousing. New Valair 13" HD clutch, nd Southbend HD hydraulics. NP208 transfer case. Body of truck is in excellent condition, loors, ockers are mint, nd were coated with POR-15 when truck was apart for engine swap. Doors are rust free with minor dings. Front fenders and hood are rust free. Original bed was badly dented and was replaced with a rust free bed off another CUCV. Bed is Rhino lined inside. All glass is good. Seat is a backseat from a 90'sChevy Tahoe withfold down armrest and cup holders. Tilt column was added. Mileage on truck is 110,400, nknown mileage on engine. When I changed Head the cylinders were perfect, ood crosshatch pattern. Engine burns zero oil. Its has a 6" Superlift front lift, nd 4" blocks in the rear. I used to have 35" all terrains tires on it,and it handled nicely, ow it has 37" Unicure retreads on it which are unbalanced...would need a newer set of tires to comfortably be street driven. Axles have been swappedfrom stock 4:56's to 3:73's. Dana 60 front and 14 bolt rear with Detroit Locker. Warn premium hubs. Has an older Meyer plow mount bolted/welded to the frame. If wanted will sell 8' Meyerpower angle plow set up for $500 over the selling price. On Oct-21-15 at 06:43:54 PDT, eller added the following information:

I've had some questions about some things so adding additional info. Motor mounts are new bread truck style mounts. Front frame section was boxed for new mounts. Welded in plow mount acts as front cross member. Radiator is from a V8 grand Cherokee 5.9l with its electric fan. Fan is on a switch and has never been needed...runs 190°. Brakes are all good, and frame is excellent shape. Engine has no blow by or unusual smoke. Does have a grey haze under load from the aftermarket fuel pin...will include stock fuel pin. Hy35 turbo was added and wastegate is welded shut. Makes 25 pounds boost. Engine has been in truck for 3 years,2 years for the NV4500. Was originally a turbo 400 auto, but wanted an overdrive. Please don't think it's gonna drive like your new Dodge Cummins... This is a 30 year old truck powered by a 4 cylinder diesel. It has rattles and viberates from the 4bt...its an unbalanced engine. It's no speed demon, but moves truck along good. I averaged 16-18 mpg in the mountains were I live. I don't need to sell this truck and won't sell it for $5000...so please don't ask. Stock, rust free CUCV's are selling for what I'm asking for this truck. Any other questions please ask. Thanks!
