Car description

This is beingre-listed due to a non-paying bidder who did not read the description. I have lowered the reserve price considerably. The car MUST sell. Someone is going to end up with a great car. This is a rare opportunity to own of the rarest of the firstgeneration monte carlos. Obviously this is a project/restoration project but a very nice solid start! This 1972 Monte Carlo Custom came originally with an LS5 454 big block. I have the build sheet which matches the car. The car does NOT have the engine, he transmission or the radiator. It DOES have the drive shaft, ll of the A/C components, heentire interior is complete minus the radio which was an AM with an 8-track according to the build sheet. This car is from the south and has a great foundation for arestoration. The frame and all its components are in excellent rust free condition. The floors are absolutely rock solid. The trunk floor is very solid. The right quarter and both doors are very solid. Around both front & rear windshields appear very solid. The left rear quarter is very straight but is rotted under all themoldings. There is a new aftermarket quarter that comes with the car. The front fenders are both rotted underneath the moldings. I personally, ould replace both of them. The hood and deck lid are both straight & solid. The roof is also in good shape. All glass is in very good shape. This is a nicely optioned car. Everything that is listed on the build sheet this car still has. Just to name a few of the items....gauge package with tach, ucket seats, enter console, 31 12 bolt posi with sway bar, ight up rear view mirror, anity mirror onsun visor, umper guards, port mirror, /C which still is completely intact andmaintains some charge.Originally this car was not black but was gold (the brownish gold) with a black interior. If you have been looking for the "right" Monte Carlo to restore then this is the one for you! It doesn't get any better or rarer than this one!CAR MUST BE PICKED UP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
