Car description

Well here she goes. Time to sell my baby. I purchased this truck 10 years ago with all intentions of restoring and handing down to my youngest son. Well one thing led to another, ot him involved in racing and lost all time, nterest and $$$ for this project. When I bought her in June 2005 she was 94,850 miles young and has held her age and at 100,800 she still looks good!! The cab corners are rusted, inor dings and scratches throughout and light surface rust on the bumpers. There is a spot on drivers side roof where the paint is cracked and coming off. Looks like someone poured something on it and it ate the paint. The inside bed is in great shape, as rubber mat, o major dings or rust. Has a matching locking hard tonneau cover on the bed. The interior shows well except for the usual cracked dash, teering wheel was replaced with a small chrome one, eat always had a cover on andunbelievably is in excellent shape except for minor cracking on drivers side edge. Previous owner installed, hat looks to be, ouse carpet on the floor and installed aftermarket Sunpro temp, il and voltage gauges in the dash panel. There is a sliding rear window and a dual purpose removable sunroof. Everything seems to work except for the lighter and A/C. Compressor is there but unhooked. Has a working Kenwood removeable face cassette player. Windshield has a small fisheye lower center about the size of a pencil erasure.Under the hood is in decent shape and clean with a 350 fueled by a 4 barrel Elderbrock carb. The carb needs either adjusted or rebuilt as it burns too rich. Has Elderbrock chrome valve covers that were painted black (paints coming off) Previous owner said motor had a mild RV cam installed along with a shift kit in the tranny. He used to pull a small camper with it. Has dual exhaust to the rear, ounds good from behind.Has a newer battery and I replaced the front brakes, otors and calipers about 300 miles ago.New brake pads on the rear at the same time. The body had been lowered about 4" which gives it an awesome stance. The tires are newer with only about 1000 miles on them. Original chevy rims and trims. Has a reese hitch. In the 10 years that I have owned it I only drove about 5,000 miles. Mostly on weekends and a few car shows and parades. I have it tagged with Historicallicenseplates. I am hoping that the person who buys it will restore her to her original beauty as this was my full intentions.Goes down the road straight and smooth. Sharp ride the way it is. Definately a head turner. Nice daily driver if you can afford the fuel.I am supplying quite a few pics, f you would like more feel free to contact me way before auction closes. This is for sale locally and auction may end at any timePayment is as follows, 500 deposit through paypal at auction end with $125 of it non refundable if buyer decides not to pay in full at time of purchase.
