Car description

1951 Buick Super Riviera 4-door in original victoria maroon with old ivory roof. 263 ci 4.3L inline 8 "fireball" buick engine with 3-speed Dynaflow automatic transmission. Manual steering and brakes. It is tough to let this car go. The rarity and best quality of this 64 year-old beauty is that it is an absolute 100% complete true and honest original survivor with what is believed to be only 53,000 original miles! From the exterior, nterior (not even a seat tear), runk and engine compartment, t is like a time capsule of what it looked like from the factory. The only aspect that seems to have been replaced is the interior carpeting and typical wear items like brakes and tires. The options and accessories that are on this car are also tough to find. Top of the line Buick radio with floor switch to change channels, riginal stainless steel vent shades above each door, ront and rear bumper guards, as tank spill shield (chrome) and Buick tissue holder under the glove compartment. The wide white tires might have only a few hundered miles on them and are in great shape. If you know what this is, he paint was also "Porcelainized" with the application sticker still on the passenger vent window! This car is solid everywhere. No rust that I have found (the imperfections on the body behind the front wheels in the pictures are stone chips in the paint, ot rust). The car starts, tops, uns and drives as it should. No issues during any of the drives we have taken. In fact, e just took it today for about a 50 mile round trip to brunch and a pumpkin patch and had a blast. The style of the car grabs immediate attention and the original patina is what starts the conversations. If you are looking for an all original Buick Super car that has not been molested in ANY way, ou have found it. The car was stored for the past 4 years in a dry garage after the previous Owner passed away. What you see is what you get. I have gone through the whole car. Everything seems to work except the radio (turns on but no sound. I think it is the vibrator tube) and gas gauge (gauge bounces but I think the float is stuck). The original paint has some imperfections or "patina". If this is what you are looking for, t would be hard to recreate. It has been touched up and blended (you can see this in the pictures but the blotches that show up on the hood in some of the pictures are reflections, ot scratches.I can send more pictures of the hood if you are interested. It is in good shape). The only other area that may need attention on the body is the left rear fender that appears to have had something done that has cracked and peeled the paint although teh fender under the paint is in great shape with no rust. I decided to leave it as-is since it is an original car. I included this area in the pictures as well. The chrome is average with some blemishes but no real pitting. The stainless trim in is in above average shape. The car does have the typical drips of oil (from the oil pan screws, robably needs a new gasket) after a long drive but nothing that a paper towel couldn't clean up.

I want to be as complete as I can with this description but please email with any other information you would like.I want to make sure you know what you are buying.Thank you for your interest and bidso
