Car description

Here some additional facts about the 1976 Alfa I have for sale. The car was purchased in 1976 by my uncle while living in Illinois. My uncle moved to Boca Raton in 1979 so the car spent less than 3 years in the heated garage while he was living in Hinsdale. L In 1981 my uncle began working outside the US and the car was placed in storage in doors. until 1988 when he gave it to me and I shipped it to Texas. It was stored in my gage the entire time and rarely driven. Ten years later my uncle got a divorcee and wanted the car back so it was shipped back to Chicago. When got the car from me. he decided that it was a "keeper" and that is when he began to restore it at a cost of more than $14. 00. The car was never in an accident. /p> The car was stripped completely and re-painted. . The seats were re-done as well as a new convertible top was installed. The car also has a black hard top with real glass. The engine was re-built with changes to the carburetor. the manifold intake. pollution gadgets removed and a new muffler installed. The carburetor and the fuel injectors to a shop in Seattle that specialized in calibrating both since it was necessary being that we had removed the factory installed pollution control equipment. All for the purpose of improving it's performance. At the time of re-building the engine. the original engine had less than 40. 00 miles. Since the re-built. nbsp;the engine has less than 2000 miles. The original wheels were powder coated and new shocks installed. When purchased the car was completely "ZBARTED". It was never driven in the winter and was always kept in a heated garage. The car has a really nice sound system and A BLACK HARD TOP WITH GLASS IN THE REAR WINDOW. My uncle gave the car back to me about 6 or 7 years ago and we shipped it back to Texas. I have put very few miles on it since and it has been garaged the entire time. When I decide to sell the car. I had it appraised by Classic Corvettes here in Lubbock. These are the same guys that have the TV show CHASING CARS on CNBC. They appraised the car at $20. 00 to a collector. There is one small spot of paint behind the right front tire that is bubbling. $500. 00 deposit required. Purchaser may arrange shipping after full payment has been made.
