Car description

Forsale 1953 Willy's Overland CJ3B

This Willy's has been completely nut and bolt restored. Everything including engine, transmission, drive train, brakes, wheels, tires are high quality new or refinished.

The Hurricane-4 Engine has very low miles since rebuilt, I have personally added about 200 miles to the Willy's since purchasing and have loved every minute.

You rarely will find them restored to this level, this is a really beautiful example with some neat extras I will include with the sale,

mainly of which is a Raymond Concrete Pile Driver Capstan Winch setup. These are impossible to find and rarely as complete as this with the complete winch, mount, and PTO.

Additionally you will get boxes of new old stock spare gaskets, trim, gauges, new seat-belt kit, steering wheel, and assorted parts one could sell off or keep for stock.

I have a white soft top with cross bows and brackets complete that will also go with the Willy's and soft doors/windows as well. Books and nostalgic info magazines will also go along with the sale.

This CJ3B turns heads everywhere it goes, people always coming up to inspect it and ask questions. I have some other cool cars and this one gets all the attention.

Driving this through the country side or down by the shore is a treat, its possibly the most fun experience you can have on 4 wheels.
The paint is nice, the interior floors have same finish as exterior. There is no surface top or bottom that is not either painted or powder coated. There is no rust, not even the sign of it.

The seats have new foam and upholstery, every nut and bolt is new or refinished. The bed is lined in thick rubber matting that is removable.

It starts reliably, drives, sounds, and steers how you would expect it to. Its a very manual(visceral) experience. The 4wd HI and LOW work perfect. The hi range and low range work as intended.

It has just enough power and torque to do what you need it to do. All the electrical is on 6 volt and has a new battery along with everything else new. All the wiring and wire shroud is

installed and done in the original style. It has a foot heater installed on the passenger side. Gas pedal, foot starter, clutch, and brakes all up to snuff and work great. Lighting all works as it should.

The windshield wipers do not work, never figured it out but inexpensive for new motors.

I need garage space and my loss is truly someone else's gain. This Willy's comes with a personality that I know the next owner will enjoy and share with others.
It will be sold on CT Registration and Bill of Sale ( CT is a no title state for older vehicles ) but I do have the old title to the Willy's for documentation purposes.

Bank wire transfer or certified check are preferred but cash at pickup is ok as well.

I can arrange a shipping quote with a reliable and competitive shipper I use and trust, just ask!
