Selling a 1960 Willys Jeep 4WD pickup truck; the model was known as a 6-226, but it's not listed in the eBay drop down so I left it blank. This truck is originally from CA so lived its life out west, the frame and body are incredibly rust free. The frame rails are not even pitted. All the under body structural pieces such as the rocker supports etc, all there. Having personally worked on a lot of Northeast jeeps and trucks over the years, the contrast between this truck and the rusty trucks one finds up here is incredible. Even the floor in the bed is original with no rust thru at all, very solid. What you see is essentially how it arrived from out west. Has patina and was clear coated. Those red areas on the doors are removable magnetic pieces and under (on each side) are American flags. They had done a spring over conversion (which created the lift), installed a dual master cylinder as well as power steering at some point. Custom set of steps that are functional and actually look good without being overdone. The engine is a carbureted 305 small block Chevy. Stock axles, transmission, and transfer case. A few things need to be sorted (such as the parking brake hooked back up), one of the windshield panes and driver glass is cracked, depending on your tastes you might want to finish the interior with door panels, etc. There is a new multi-row aluminum radiator that needs to be installed (included) as it does run hot on extended/higher speed drives. The seat is out of an early Dodge Dakota so is a nice molded foam seat as opposed to a spring and pad seat; in any case, needs to be mounted, I may or may not have time to get it done before it sells. The engine runs fine, it does leak some oil and coolant; I had planned to install a Detroit 3-53 so didn’t care much about the condition of the SBC. In any case, haven’t been able to get to it, and haven’t used the truck much; so it’s time to move it along. I did install a new set of Dick Cepek Extreme Country tires (35X12.5R15LT); wheels are vintage aluminum slot mag style wheels (15" X 10"). There is a second set of wheels/tires included but really only good for off road use. Has a new dual exhaust which exits in front of the rear axle (both sides). This truck has a super cool look and stance, everyone loves it, lots of thumbs up. That small aluminum tank in the bed was for a flamethrower exhaust that the previous owner was planning to complete. Floors are in nice shape, there is one very small patch panel that was installed on the driver’s side left (sort of see it in the photo) and a few small pinholes under the gas pedal where the drivers (wet) heel would have rested, but very solid. Please study the photos as they form a part of the description. I have a registration from 2019 in my name, NH is a non-title state for older vehicles so there is no title; sold on a bill of sale with the 2019 registration document. I marked title as clean; but again, NH is a non-title state so this truck is sold with a bill of sale and the 2019 registration document only. The odometer says 3078 but I have no way of knowing if that's real, I would assume it's not; so I put 99,999 in the details. The value in this truck is really the completely rust free nature of the body, frame etc. It is hard to find jeep trucks in this shape, they are usually either rotted or have had some serious repair work done to the frames and bodies. Swap in an LS motor, swap in a diesel, or just tend to the existing carbureted 305 SBC and leave it, it's a great foundation for a cool truck no matter what your choice. I was driving the truck around town last year, perfect around town truck. This truck would also make a great shop truck to advertise your business (the removable magnetic panels could have your business name/logo etc for example). Vehicle is located in Andover NH. Deposit of $1000 via Paypal due in 48 hours, balance due within 7 days via cash, bank check or wire; note all checks must clear first, including bank/cashier's checks. Vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel the listing early. If you want it shipped, you'll need to make the arrangements with a shipping company; I will of course make myself available on the day the shipping company picks it up. Please feel free to ask any questions and I’ll do my best to answer them. I can continue to store it (indoors) for 4 weeks unless prior arrangements are made. Thanks for looking.
