1961 VW Dune Buggy with removable hardtop & side curtains

Here's your chance to own a super cool & super fun 1961 Volkswagen Dune Buggy with rare removable hardtop and side curtains.
A friend of mine who owns a body shop picked this up and I thought it was the coolest and had to have it. I had him restore the buggy to my taste and wanted to be able to jump in it and run around our lake community on the weekends. We are now preparing to sale our lake home so all the toys are going.
The buggy was restored in early 2018 and included taking the body off and replacing the pan. During this time everything was inspected and replaced/repaired as needed with the body being changed to Red and the Hard Top and Wheels being changed to Cream. New carpet and upholstery was installed to complete the transformation. The last picture listed is the buggy before restoration.
The only issue I know of is the fuel gauge does not work most of the time and was not discovered until after the restoration was completed.
We have only put a couple hundred miles on it at the most as again we simple use it on the weekends to run around the lake etc.
