1973 volkswagen minibus

Muraled one of a kind hippie bus. Purchased in 2016. All work completed by a non-professional.Work was inspired by Cassandra my deceased 15 year old who was a young hippie who dreamed of a bus of her own. I dedicated two winters to the restoration and worked very hard to make a bus worthy of her memory. I am not an artist and claim no professional restoration skills It was stripped to bare metal puttied painted and muraled with over 700 hours in the mural and completed with a mothers love for her daughter. Summer is busy on the farm and I have put very few miles on it. New oak furniture, and back seats and mattresses recovered. front bucket seats professionally restored with peace sign etched on them. Dash black, no cracks, Lights turn signals, windshield wipers working order. Heater functions as well as most/not well. Seal in windshield newer, no leaks. driver and passanger window seals original and could use replaced. Interior off white covered with candyskull material on door panels, side panels and roof. Adhesive on interior ceilings need retouched at times, Battery 2 years, new 2 barrel carb, new main back seal, new JVC stereo, 4 Memphis speakers, new tires, recently serviced professionally. Odometer read 87000 miles refurbished and reset to 3000 miles now says around 3850, gas gauge may not be accurate. Hole in uppermost area of gas tank, if top off gas, inside of bus smells like gas and small puddle will form under tank at first stop you make. Pop up canvas good, no screens in it, need screen restored. Small metal plate on pop top over crack in fiberglass. Restoring pop up was on to do list. Surface rust in side front door panel. Automatic transmission, Shift into low gear to pull hills, does 65 on open highway. Over all a very unique ride, turns heads and tells a story everywhere you go!! Questions 724-840-7835
