Car description

This car is special to our family. It was originally acquired directly from VW to my wife's father who was the editor for Hot VWs Magazine at the time in 1988. It's an 88 Fox GL Wagon White with a Tan?Brown interior that I've never seen on any other Fox. She has a complete 4spd to Audi 5spd conversion. Also she has the late model bigger digifant intake manifold, dual outlet exhaust manifold and dual downpipe. She has lowering springs, Bilstiens, 205/50-15 Wheel/Tire setup, done the Scirocco 16V 9.4'-10.1" brake conversion, Addco 1" front Audi Fox sway bar, and a Techtonics SS exhaust system . She handles great! The head was out of a Corrado Supercharged G60 engine with a custom grinded Isky cam and flow tested.... The valves are 33/40, and the studs are steel. The whole intake and exhaust was port matched and flows like no other! On the interior she's got custom made Wet Okole seat covers, Rare Momo perforated leather/wood steering wheel, BIG teak wood shift knob, short shifter, AC replaced and blows cold! Incredible stereo with an Alpine head unit, Xtant amplifier and CDT speakers. Taylor ignition wires, Jacobs Coil and E3 spark plugs. New AWESOME AGM Battery. Neuspeed adjustable cam gear (BADASS!) The engine just goes!!! Starts and idles rough from the cam but no issues off idle to redline! So much fun to drive! Definitely hasFahrvergnügen and then some!!!

Selling the car because the car needs body work due the rust starting to get bad in various spots around the vehicle. I just don't have the time or the knowhow to do the body work on her that she needs. With the body work done and a fresh coat of paint and she would be good for another 20 years!
