1970 VW Tin Top Campmobile
I am selling my 1970 VW Tin Top Campmobile. It is the truly the best of both worlds. Tin Top for daily driving, and the ability to hit the road for some adventures while using all of the Westfalia Campmobile features.
The bus has a 1776 engine with Dual Kadron Carburetors (From the Kaddie Shack in CA). It has plenty of power. I have the original carburetor if you would like to restore to factory standards.
Tires are the correct bus tires. Hankook RA08's with only a couple of hundred miles on them. The spare tire is original.
All 4 shocks are new. The brakes have been gone through and replaced as well. All gauges work. The radio is not hooked up.
This is a very original example. The bus has had a paint respray several years ago. It has held up well. All interior is original, with the exception of the front seats; which have been reupholstered with the correct material from Wolfsburg West. I will also include matching curtains, as well as the original child cot that goes across the front seats. This bus is unrestored and does have a few flaws. There is a small dent by the Right headlight. The floor is original and has a few small holes. This vehicle is 47 years old and is not perfect, but they are only original once.
