This is a 1971 deserter gt dune buggy. Very rare, esirable and hard to find. Completely rebuilt with a body off restoration in the spring of 2015. Less then 200 miles since this costly build of $17,000. 1600 dp motor. King pin front and swing axle rear. 1965 chassis. One of the best modifications done during this build was moving the seats and shifter back six inches. No eating your knees in this one. I'm 6'2" and am very comfortable in this one.Most everything is brand new. Eleanor's colors and is perfect on it. The interior walls are wrapped in emu ostrich. There is a black water proof cockpit cover.This beast runs, rives and sounds awesome! They are out there, know...but they are very rareThere is a tiny chip on the front left fender just in front of the mirror from a tool drop. The drivers seat has a seam split which you can see in the pictures. If you look closely, his like every forty five year old fiberglass body has minor stress cracks. Barely visible but they are there. For some reason the stereo speakers stopped working. I haven't looked at it. The new directional switch sometimes doesn't self cancel.Vehicle is located in northern New Hampshire and is currently registered and inspected.
