Car description

1965 Triumph Spitfire MK II
VIN # FC54629L
I purchased the car with the intention of doing a restoration. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'll have any time to tinker with in the near future, so its time to let it go to a new home.
Here's what I can tell you about the car:
Body: its actually very solid underneath, the floors appear to be original and without rust EXCEPT for the front passenger side. Radius arm pickups in the rear are very solid as well as the trunk floor. Rockers are good but a purist may want to replace them. The paint shows wear with plenty of nicks chips and a few dings. The trim, chrome and rubber will all need attention. The soft top was soft top is bad but it still has the complete soft top frame.
Interior: I do have the original MK II seats. Shows wear but complete and usable. Doors open and shut, about like most MK II's. Glass rolls up and down fine and with a few scratches. Glass and door gaskets show age-wear. Windshield will need to be replaced.
Electric Functionality: Park lamps, turn signals, brake lights, hor, heater and wipers all functioning as are the headlamps. The left headlamp is a little dim.
Drivetrain: The motor starts from an external fuel source. Actual mileage is unknown, mileage exempt. Fuel tank is good but removed from the car. The motor has a fair amount of seeps and grease-oil residue. The exhaust does leak and will need to be replaced. Car steers well, no brakes as it needs the master cylinder reinstalled. The clutch master cylinder will also need to be reinstalled. Tires have dry rot and should be replaced, they do hold air currently.
Extras: This car comes with a ton of extra parts. Hub caps, fender trim, dash gauges, electrical components, extra bumpers, grill inserts, tail light assemblies, steering wheel and column, etc. These are in the picture with all of the boxes on shelves.
Shipping: Car is located near Pittsburgh, PA. Buyer makes all arrangements for shipping and pays all associated transport fees.
It has a clear title, car is sold as is, where is. Let me know here if you have any questions good luck!
