1985 Toyota Celica Convt GT-S

The last year for the rear wheel drive Celica. Only 4,248 GT-S Convt's built in 1985. It had their biggest motor 2.4L, sp. Also with the years of accumulated trim options. As Toyota grew they wanted to have a sporty car still in the market. In 82 they redesigned the Celica and each year after added new upgrades and options. The convertibles were only available in America and were built into convt's in America. What is a collector car. There are formal definitions but for the people of thatgeneration this car was a standout for the sporty go to car in a price range affordable to most. Maybe not investment quality but certainly sought after by many. This car needs some work but it's a cCalif car and has plenty of life left. Now It runs and drives and with some TLC someone can have a great car.
