I bought this rare Tin Top in Elkhart, ndiana. I belonged to a young Amish Car guy, f all people, ho had to sell it as he had decided to return to the Lifestyle of his faith, he two would not match.. It was in great condition, t was easy to see the Sammy had not been abused or cobbled up . My intent was to build the vehicle as good as I could for off/on road use. All the time staying true to the original inten, nly better. Example; I put on 32" Super Swampers, ot 34s or 36, ut a size that fit and drove well, nd had a narrower tread than going crazy and destroying the true nature of what I had. Same for the 1.6 16 valve EFI Sidekick engine . only 40 lbs heaver but almost double the HP. ( So many of the Sammys have been destroyed by big V6 engines, uge tires, tc ) The result is this thing drives really great !. So much fun on and off the road, ts like the car is part of the driver and vice-versa. Grown up Go Kart ? ..yes sort of like that but with all the comforts built in. Its hard to explain......Granted, an not finished totally, he next add would be Jeep springs, arger shocks for more articulatio, ockers, nd maybe lower gears in transfer case, owever with the 32s it runs great in the woods, nd now after 3 years since I started, just never got around to all the final things available I could do, aybe because it has been great fun as it is ! I have not been interested in racing, ud bog, nd all the ultimate stuff.....On a chilly Fall Sunday I load up the cooler, og and wife ( in that order) and we set of on the hundreds of miles of logging roads all over the UP.....explorin, nd, guess thats why I bought it ! No regrets only fun times.. The only reason I am selling the Sammy i, y lifestyle has changed, inters in the SW in our Motor Coach, old my big JD that I built my retirement house with, ot rid of a couple of Jeeps, intage Cars big time, nd just overall simplifying my priorities. ( I want a early 2000 911 cab. for the warm winters in AZ, esides at 74 its time to shorten the bucket list, here is still so much on my plate, oo do ! )

Several bidders have asked if the almost new 14 ft. Featherlite trailer that was made for the Samurai comes with it..... It does not come with the vehicl, nor is it part of the sale..... but is available as a separate purchase.should that offer help make the deal work. It is NOT on an eBay auction. .....ask if you are interested and I can make a separate auction for it..
