Car description

I have two of these Studebaker pick-ups, two older Corvettes and my work truck. Both trucks were put in storage last fall as Kansas uses a bunch of salt on the roads during the winter and I just fired it up again a few weeks ago. I love the truck but it needs to be driven regularly. I bought it from out in the desert two years ago and was told it had always been rust-free. the previous owner said the 429 Cobra jet was about a 10,000.00 build and it is hooked up to a C-6 automatic Tranny both of which only have less than 5,000 miles on them since built. The truck has a form of a Vintage air unit in it and I think everything works except the odometer. Speedometer reads a little faster than u are really going. I put a new master cylinder and new wheel cylinders in it about a years ago. Rear brakes could stand to be adjusted up just a tad. Interior was just put in it before I bought it, the glass is good. This truck is a lot of fun to drive. Was told the motor puts out well over 400 HP. As it has been setting way too much it has developed a leak in the power-steering. I took it to my mechanic who added some Lucas stop-leak to the power-steering and told me that should do it in time but the price is low enough I feel I am covering the cost of a repair if needed. Bed is dirty and missing a little paint I do have a little paint for touch up. This truck won a couple shows right after it was built but I used it and had fun with it.Will miss it dearly when it is gone. Feel free to ask questions and please--- no lowball offers as you will be wasting your time as the minimum I will accept is fairly close to the buy it now price.500.00 down payment due thru PayPal immediately after the sale is closed.
