Car description

NO RESERVE - 1971 Porsche 911T Targa - partially restored. Runs and drives. Car appears to be complete but I haven't gone through every part to verify. The interior and the glass are present and need to be installed. Many of the trim pieces are newly purchased and in plastic packaging awaiting install. I plan on posting pictures of all parts laid out over the weekend. Lots of work performed to get to this point. 1970 911 2.2 motor runs but needs valve adjustment. Complete new brake system, complete new fuel system, carbs rebuilt. Recent major service - new fluids throughout, carbs synched etc. Engine has good compression and doesn't smoke. Transmission is from 1969 912 and will need to be swapped out to get true performance of car (estimate 3k-4k for parts and labor). Exterior of Car was taken down to bare metal, bodywork performed and painted, Glasurit two stage slate grey. Interior will require new upholstery. Undercarriage needs significant metal repair (see pictures). Prior owner had work done by an under qualified body shop and will need to be redone. I've had two estimates for the metal work to remedy all rust areas, both were 10k. Original mileage unknown. Car is currently at Autobahn West in Mission Viejo, CA. Also have two original Fuchs 15x6 wheels. Will need to be refinished. I can source two more and include them at buy it now price. Auction includes the two I have. Unfinished project for the right buyer. Inspections welcome and encouraged. Bought this on ebay last week for $36,600. Seller didn't disclose the metal work that needed to be done. I'm expecting to sell for a partial loss to buy something ready to drive as I don't have the patience for the project.

Didn't realize the buy it now feature isn't an option after a bid is placed without a reserve. So... I guess per ebay, there isn't a buy it now option. Happy Bidding!
