Paint Code: 6608 Aga Blue
Up for auction is a Early Production 1966 Porsche 912 3 gauge Karmann Coupe. Produced in 1965, A desirable Aga Blue with black interior. 6731 miles showing on the odometer, probably 106,731 true miles, Car has been stored for about 10 years, was last registered and running in 2006, I believe car was a Ex autocross car as I found time slips from Laguna Seca / Sears point Raceway in the door pockets, Lots of evidence that this car was very fast, Motor is probably built for high RPM as the tach has been clocked to read 8K ect, Motor is free and turns, Engine numbers show Original motor to car, 4 Speed Transmission also original, car rolls and steers fine, e brake works, car has not been started since 2007, probably will need Solex carbs cleaning / rebuilding before starting, gas tank smells like sour gas, The car still has a very straight body with silver paint, original Aga Blue paint is underneath silver paint, Engine hood is from a later Porsche with a spoiler, has a crack in it as it is made of fiberglass, all original glass, Small dings here and there, Some rust here and there but no rotten floors or panels, California Car, There are extras in the trunk, Koni Shocks Bumper bar, Lug Wrench, Racing seat belts, and more, This car has its original set of chrome 4.5 x 15 steel wheels and new tires, also this car has a Abarth Exhaust System,
The rear pop-out windows and the front triangle-wing windows move well and latch properly,
Doors open and close very well, door hood and trunk gaps are all even and straight,

I don't believe this car has ever been hit,

A very desirable short wheel base car, with an excellent color combination needing restoration.

Any questions welcome. Please see Many pictures for more information,
