I will do my best to describe this car for you. Please ask any/all questions before purchase of this vehicle. I will provide any/all information to you in a timely fashion to help you make a decision on the car. You are responsible for any transportation required to bring it to your home. This car is in really good vintage condition. It has some light dents/light dings in some areas, the paint is chipped in some areas and you can see the original pale yellow paint the car with when new, not a great deal, but you can certainly see some areas. Car has never been wrecked (according to the owner) and by the looks of the car, I would have to believe him. It is really straight all around. He took really good care of it since new. I have known the owner for many years and he does take care of his equipment

* This is the Sport Coupe "J" model with the desired single headlights set up and nice big grill* The odometer reads 35,687...The owner feels confident it's 135,687 - The car has been well maintained by the one owner since new.

* It went through a restoration probably 20 years ago where they changed the color from its original pale yellow to the current white. Externally, it was not done particularly well (in my opinion) as they painted over some of the chrome and you can see the old yellow in door jams/trunk lid/hood areas etc...It would really look outstanding with a nice paint job!

* The top is in really nice shape with no damage. There are several small areas under the material on the top that look like a small bubble, could be a small rust spot...I don't know. Just a couple of small areas on the top...* The chrome was painted in many areas to match colors on the car, but it appears all chrome pieces are there* It is the 400ci motor and it runs really smooth -- All numbers match* Starts right up and does not run hot - frequent oil changes and well maintained* All lights/blinkers/wipers/interior lights work well*Heater control knobs, all knobs for working items on dash are original and in good shape* All dashboard gauges work as required including fuel tank/temp/Gen/lighter -- I have not tried to set the original clock* It has the original radio and all original speakers work* The tires are in decent/good shape as well as the rims

Took it to a mechanic on 8/6/2020 - Some of the items the mechanic who assisted me said to relay were as follows: shows 3 to 4 mm on front brakes, Pan Replaced, Tail shaft replaced, Couple small leaks in motor, nothing bad, Original Fisher brake pedal with little wear…he thinks the car could be (as the odometer reads) 35, 864 – he would need a deeper examination of the engine to determine that but he was impressed with the original pedal and little wear, Motor Mount Replacement possible in the future…no pickup issues when shifting gear?? He would do a carb tune, Small exhaust leak, Cylinders hitting evenly -- he said really nice old car

* It is equipped with factory A/C (but currently not blowing cold air) the pump works, sounds like a bearing may be starting to fail on it, but it works...just no cold air -- it is being sold as Air Conditioning not working* The are NO cracks in the dash or on the back flat panel behind the rear seats* There are no tears in the seats anywhere - no kids or animals were in this car* The carpets in the car are all in good shape with little wear...some discoloration in a few areas, but nice shape* All the seatbelts work as designed* The Cruise Control works (I tested it) *The trunk and hood lids work well* Hand Crank Windows work well* front seat levers to move seat work well* Lighter is in it's original spot never used...no smoking occurred in this car
* Glass is in decent/good shape - There are a few highway rock chips in the front window upper area by the passenger side* The car does show a few areas of rust starting to encroach (see pictures of inside trunk lid areas both sides)* The Pontiac centerpiece on the hood is missing

This car could be absolutely beautiful with some work1972 Pontiac Grand Prix -- VIN: 2K57T2A115848 -- condition: good -- cylinders: 8 cylinders 8-400 Bar Carb Dual Exhaust -- fuel: gas -- odometer: 135,681 -- paint color: white -- size: full-size -- title status: clean -- transmission: automatic -- type: sedan - This car was made in Atlanta, GA
