Up for sale is a 1977 Bandit Trans Am SE Y-82 4 speed. The paint is all original, original interior, and original drive train, all numbers matching. I also have the original broadcast sheet. The car runs and drives very well. The motor and transmission were freshened up due to a spun rod bearing when it was purchased and the transmission was freshened up due to the motor already being out. The total cost between the two of $12,500. The removal and re -installation was done factory correct. As far as damage and rust to the car, you can see the rust issues in the pictures. The interior is in very good shape. There is only small imperfections. The issues with the car include the paint being badly faded, a dent in the driver side quarter from a scrape against a garage door, the T-Top headliner is letting go in places, the battery is bad, and the tires are old. The car is highly optioned including power trunk, power windows, power locks, air conditioning, 4 speed console, and the W-72 high horsepower engine. The Hurst T-Tops are in great shape. The original T-Top bags and spare tire and jack are in the trunk. The car was driven very sparingly. The car was used for a promotional photo for the Smokey and The Bandit movie. The car has signatures on the glove box door. Please view the photo of the glove box door for more clarification. This car is a very nice piece of Pontiac history.
