1992 Firebird Formula WS 6 w/ 5.7 TPI and T-Tops all factory options I have the Build sheet to prove it. VERY RARE
I purchased it from Hood Pontiac in Riverside California and have owned it for about 25 years. The CARFAX shows the when and where for the title transfer. There is no damage or accidents reported. I doesn't leak oil or over heat or disappoint in any way.
Four + years and 5 thousand miles ago I brought this car back to day one. The car was completely redone and updated the way most Pontiac and car guys would do it. The stock interior is in good shape and left it alone. The completely rust free body was sanded down all nicks and dings blocked out and a deep black two stage paint was applied. All the original decals were re-installed,
Every part of the drivetrain has been gone through.
New GM ZZ4 engine installed, With a CARB (California Air Resource Board) allowed roller camshaft and the factory TPI and all emmision legal equipment installed. The exhaust was redone with new cats and high flow exhaust. The sound is only slightly deeper than stock. This car can and does pass California SMOG Test legally.
The original (numbers matching) 700R4 transmission was completely gone through with new performance soft parts and a new Hughes Converters (still has full lockup) installed,
The driveshaft has new u joints and was balanced. The rear end got new posi clutches and bearings. The gears looked like new and were retained.
The chassis was gone through with new bushings, shocks and performance alignment and four new BFG Gforce Z rated tires put on the original blasted and powder coated 16 inch WS-6 wheels.
The cooling system was redone with a new radiator and heater core. The Meziere high flow water pump keeps this car cool on the hottest days.
The electronics in the car have been updated to modern standards. The touch screen has Navigation, Bluetooth and hands free calling. It slips back into a single din mount to keep would be thieves from thinking it is anything special. This car also has a high power AMP and subwoofer neatly tucked away. In case the thieves are smarter then that, there is a GPS tracking system that tells you location, speed and other information like doors open or closed, battery hooked up and the option to hit the kill switch and keep them from driving any farther. The tracking system works through a seperate phone line in the car. This car does still have the working PASSKEY II system and remote keyless entry.

Manual articulating driver's seat.
If you want a head turning daily driver that has never been beaten up this is your car. If you want a car that runs and has all the creature comforts of a modern car this is your car. I have put about 5,000 miles on the engine and driveline since I went through it. I have all the reciepts for the GM engine and most of the other parts. It would cost you over 18,000 grand to copy this car and that is if you could even find a one of less than 350 made 5.7 ltr. WS6 T-Top Formula. This car new was over $25,000 frankly most of the car is better than new.
I need to get $15,000 for this car or a very close offer. Before you say crazy think about this:
If you already had a very rare 1992 Original 5.7 WS6 T Top Formula. Price out a $5000 paint job $4000 engine $1000 in transmission work $1000 in Chassis work, $1000 in tires $500 on the wheels and $1000 on the audio, nav and tracking system. $1000 in drivetrain work and $1000 in exhaust work. I can arrange to have the car inspected, SMOG (if needed) and shipped or I can get it delivered (your dime) or you can come out here to check it out yourself and while you are at it go to Disneyland, Sea World and Universal Studios and then drive it home.
If you are a collector, I have the numbers matching engine and it is included with the purchase of this car. I have the original build sheet and radio as well. This is the second rarest of the 1992 F body platforms, the only car that had less than 351 units was the Firehawk with 125 made. Just as we have seen the second generation F-body cars elevate in price over the last few years, it won't be long before the 3rd generation cars see the same peek in interest.
