Car description

Up for sale with no reserve is a barn find 1970 1/2 trans am 1 of 1,339 factory ram air 3 automatic cars built. Car has 83,140 actual miles. Ram air 3 turbo 400 automatic car. Car sat in a damp barn since 1988 until a few days ago where I pulled it from its resting place. This car is PHS documented and sold new at banyas Pontiac in Chillicothe ohio which is about 2 hours south of me. So this car has been an Ohio car it's whole life and shows it. Car still has 8k tach and 160 mph speedo and original dash and formula steering wheel and blue kick panels and blue headliner. I added a set of correct 70 black seats....seats are nice but drivers side is missing seat tracks. Console is not the orginal someone at some point spray dyed it blue...and has a white back seat with white door panel. Car does not run and drive....I may try to put a battery in it and try to get it to turn over. Previous owner said it was running car when parked...gas tank is out of car. This car rusted from the underside from sitting in a damp barn for the last 30 years. The car is rusted underneath and I have posted as many pictures of the car as eBay would allow me. I am not trying to hide or mask anything. If you would like to see more of the car...any serious bidders are more then welcome to come look at the car in person. Car is a total project and will require someone with some good metal skills to fix this car the right way. The car will need all new floors along with both rear frame rails. The drivers side is worse then the passenger side, but I would recommend replacing both to do it the right way. Trunk pan looks solid from underneath but at some point someone put a thin coat of fiberglass over it on the inside for whatever reason. The hood is rust free and nice....the front endura nose is nice the front grills are nice and don't seem to be busted...front Valance is nice...core support seems to be pretty nice.....battery box is Rusty ....bottom of fenders are Rusty...corners of both doors have putty in the corners of them but they do not sag at all when opened...both rockers seem to be pretty decent....front sub frame is decent....rear frame rails are Rusty and will need replaced....floors are Rusty and will need replaced....cornners of the dash have a little rust bubbling but don't seem bad at all compared to most...roof is soild .....lower quater panels are Rusty and will need patched or replaced.....car still has it's orginal single ram air snorkel shaker air cleaner and it's orginal shaker top with the solenoid and rear flapper. Car has a 10 bolt posi under it....still has a turbo 400 tranny not sure if it's the orginal one or not.....orginal motor is long gone...it now has a YT code 400 with 6x heads motor is early 1976 400 motor is complete but not orginal to this car...car does not have the orginal Rally's either....this car was just way it was when previous owner bought it in 1988 he bought it and parked it. If you have questions or would like to come look at the car please feel free to email me...thanks have a good day. I have a clean and clear Ohio title for the car. Car must be paid in full within 48 hours of winning bid....money wire to my bank I do not do PayPal....also if you bid on car that is what you are going to pay for it....don't plan to bid then come to negotiate the price when you come to pick it up.
