Improvements were also made in the engine placement, ront suspension and reinforced springs. Pontiac may have broken late from the gate in the pony-car wars, ut it quickly made up ground. The 3 speed automatic transmission was built by Level 10 Transmissions to support the powerplant. 2500 stall speed converter. Power is transferred to the wheels via a new 3:36:1 posi rear set up. New custom dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. Brand new Holley double pump carburetor. New USA made 4 core radiator installed, 80 degree thermostat, ar run at 185-190 degrees.
