This 1941 Plymouth is a solid original that has been collector owned for many years and restored as needed, with an eye on preserving the originality, with upgrades to remain a great driving, enjoyable road car.
The straight, rust-free body was repainted in dark Chevron Blue and shows today with a beautiful, deep shine. Chrome was re-plated and trim polished. New running board rubber mats. New trunk floor mat. Interior was reupholstered in original style. Smooth gray vinyl. Seat belts added. Original working MOPAR heater. Accessory AM radio added. Working dome light and fresh headliner. A nice package for around town or on tours. Plenty of space behind the seat and inside of the HUGE trunk for lots of luggage or antique shopping "finds".PLEASE SEE PHOTOS, just taken for this listing and showing current excellent condition.
Mechanically, this Plymouth is excellent. Part of a large collection in the Northwest. Always maintained by a personal mechanic and regularly serviced. Bulletproof, smooth-running 201 cubic inch straight 6 engine produces 87 horsepower and lots of torque through the 3-speed manual transmission with column shift. Comfortable on the highway around 55 mph. Shifts smoothly. Brakes stop smooth and straight. Newer exhaust and muffler. Original 6 volt electrical system. All gauges work and register accurately.
