That means you must have the the funding to back your maximum bid. Thank you. 1972 Basin Street Blue Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus Big Block Survivor! This is a very unique Plymouth. It has a certain kind of vibe (feel–if you will allow me to say so). There are a few things that set this Satellite apart from the rest of the cars out there. For starters. it was built with the best of two worlds in mind: A Big Block and Fuel Mileage. These two known automotive terms usually do not go together. although they certainly do in this case. This particular Sebring Plus was designed to cruise–and to do so with style. It was originally purchased at a Nebraska dealership by a couple from Cheyenne. Wyoming. I was told that when they purchased this Satellite; they wanted a car that they could go traveling in (hearsay). Whether or not they meant to order or buy the Satellite this way. this couple purchased and owned the ultimate touring car. As I mentioned before. there is a vibe to this vehicle. This car fits the icy snow country of Wyoming with its awesome Richard Petty Blue paint (Basin Street Blue). beautiful white vinyl top and silver two tone paint. It also has a "gone-sailing" kind of vibe to it. The best feeling of all is when you sit inside that factory original B5 blue interior. and get that time warp (time capsule) sense of being back in the early 1970's when cars were CARS. SURVIVORThis car is a true forty thousand (40. 00) mile Survivor in every sense of the word–dents and all. Inside and out. top to bottom. you wont believe how clean this Mopar is. and every number is correct and they all match. I must stress that this Sebring Plus has never been repainted nor has it ever had any type of panel painting done. The vinyl top is original to the car. It has been very well taken care of by it’s previous owners. The Basin Street blue paint is best described by the word "Luster. and lots of it. It is absolutely amazing just how well the factory original paint still shines. With that being said. I must mention the two dents which are still present on the body. and one long scratch (ten or so inches–see pictures). The interior is just as impressive and it really grabs your vision when you stick your head in the window. It too has two blemishes. three cracks in the dash and one of the sun visors was not sewn properly from the factory (easy fix). The drivers side front seat insert where the ribbed portion of the seat is has been replaced with NOS material dated 1971 by Chrysler. P. S. The trunk mat is also amazing. "The Plus Package"It has basically the deluxe GTX interior and two tone exterior trim. without the 440 drivetrain. Some of the upgrades from a base Satellite are: Rallye gauges. bucket seats. rear speaker with fader knob. two tone paint and side body trim (there are two different body trims on the car). a clock courtesy key switch light and door buzzer. map/glovebox/trunk lights. big block 400. power disc brakes. There are a few more options on this car. but the best and most important is the "Petty Blue Paint" I cannot explain just how much it sets this car apart from the rest. DETAILS AND PARTICULARSI will–and have listed–some of the options on this vehicle. but I am not going to decode the entire fender tag or any of the build sheet. and when I say build sheet I mean sheets. it has two of them that I know of–both of which are still in there factory installed places (Passenger seat and rear seat). Along with the build sheets there is a loaded fender tag. I also have the original factory window sticker. dealers sales receipt. temporary driving tag (dated 1972) and Plymouth Satellite sales brochure. All kept and preserved by the original owners and so on. I have added a 1972 original copy Plymouth Satellite service manual. and the Magnum 500 wheels. Every number matches on this vehicle: The dash vin tag. door vin tag. radiator support stamping. the engine block. transmission and the title. This car has an awesome powertrain and it starts and runs great.
