Car description

Hello! How are you? I am selling my 1969 Oldsmobile cutlass 442. This is a true 442!!! I have included pictures of the trim tag, and title to verify this. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, driver/small project, this is a great car. This is by no means a show car, but it runs and drives great, just needs mostly cosmetics. There are may brand new parts included with the car! I have a complete brand new black interior for it! Seat covers, foams, front and rear, carpet, headliner. All brand new in the boxes. It was all purchased at ground up restorations. I also have a brand new trunk pan, and floors, which I started to install. I have the factory shifter and console for it, why they took it out is beyond me, but this is the actual shifter, and console that came out of it. With the original hickory shift knob. The car runs and drives great! I would say there is about 2-3000 miles on the drive train since it’s been gone through. The car has an original 400ci olds ending out of a 442, it is not the original one out of this car, but I did know the car it came from. The engine has been completely gone through! Has a bigger cam, edelbrock intake, accell ignitoin, and holly carb. The car has the original th400 tranny which is also fresh, and shifts very firm!!! It has a 2500-3000 stall speed converter in it. The original 12 bolt 3:31 position rear is still in the car, and is great! You bring it up to about 4000 rpms, shift into second, hold on! All you will do is giggle when it shifts. 😀 most of the bushings have been replaced in the suspension, so the car is very tight. The car has power, 4 wheel drum brakes, but it stops well. Mechanically its a great car, no expense was spared as far as the mechanic part of it goes. The body is in decent shape, it is not perfect, like I stated earlier, it’s a driver, not a show car. I have an extra hood for it, I am not a fan of the scoop, so I have another good, which came from the same car the engine came out of. I started to install the floors, there is still some work that needs to be done there, but I bought everything needed to finish them! The trunk is not great, it could be patched, but I bought a new pan, which I am also including with the car. The overall car otherwise I’d pretty solid. Everything works, as far as lights, and all that goes. Like I said I was driving it quite a bit before I started on the floors. I am trying to be as upfront as I can about this car, I in no way want to misrepresent it!I have a walk around video of it, that I am happy to send to someone if interested. I have set the reserve at a reasonable price, please don’t ask what it is, follow the sale. If you are interested in the car, please do not ask me to stop the sale, I am going to let it go the full term. If you have a LOGICAL REASONABLE questions, please feel free to ask. My number is FOUR ONE 3 - 8 two 2 - 1 six 5 8I am located 49 miles from Albany NY, and 2 1/2 hours from the bridge port ferry.
