Car description

With the price of original 442's climbing everyday I have to admit I have been smitten by them since I was a kid. This car started it's life as a standard '72 Cutlass. The dream was to recreate the glory of American Muscle car history at a price I could afford at the time. She has been nothing less than a labor of love for me and the gentleman who started the project. Sadly, I am moving across country and can't take her with me.The original motor was replaced with a 455 big block which I had completely stripped down and rebuilt last spring. I have less than 500 miles on the re-build. Added a 350-turbo transmission, 4-barrel carbs. Added new air-scoop hood with rally stripes, new shocks and springs front and rear, dual exhaust with chrome tail pipes, and appropriate 4-4-2 badges all around. Stock rear end. Custom stereo with sub woofers in the trunk. I purchased the car in 2014 with it being 70% completed and have taken it to the next level.
The Custom red paint and white rally stripes are easily an 8 out of 10 and the custom red/white interior a 9 out of 10. The rims are older American Racing wheels which came with the car when purchased. The chrome has lifted in spots. I would have replaced this winter if keeping the car. Currently the car has no heat or air. If I were to keep her it would have been another winter project. The car drives with tremendous power and every time I am behind the wheel I smile. I hate to see her go. Last month I had the car inspected here in PA and she past with flying colors with no mechanical work needed whatsoever. Inspection is good through Aug of 2020.The car is listed locally and I reserve the right to pull this add at any time if it sells before end of auction time.
