Car description

Up for auction is this beautifully restored 1972 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible. Hugger Orange base coat clear coat paint with black interior and black top.The drivetrain is rebuilt starting with the455 engine using a performance cam kit topped off with hard to find k heads and a Quadrajet carband has all the power you need.TH400 Transmission was completely rebuilt with new converter and the differential packed with a posi track. The exhaust consists of stainless headers and 2-1/2" stainless mandrel bent exhaust. Power brakes and power steering were serviced and perform as they should. Flawless Oldsmobile SSI rims with a matching spare. Power top was new and works flawlessly. Rare radio delete car, however, set up with a professionally installed bluetooth stereo. Alpine 8" sub, 5 channel Alpine amp. High end Focal 6.75" speakers in kick panels. Sounds amazing, but not obnoxious.

To drive this car with top up or down is an amazing experience with many thumbs up and questions at every stop. Has the ability toseriouslyhurt the rear tires at will, it will take some restraint to keep from being on a first name basis with your local tire shop! It just plain feels good to drive it and I would have no problem driving it cross country.

You can only fit so many pictures on,so if there is something you would like to see that is not shown, I can send them but please allow time for this. No pictures within 8 hrs of auction end.

I know I have probably missed some things, so, if there are questions, please ask. I will do my best to answer them, but again, allow time for responses.

Inspections are encouraged, ether private or third party. I'm flexible with hours with a little notice; car is stored in airplane hangar very close.

$2000.00 deposit thru PayPal within 24 hrs and balance wire transferred within 3 days of end of auction unless paying in person with cash. If paying with cashier's check, check must clear before car leaves. No exceptions unless previous arrangements have been made.
