Car description

You are looking at a Original California Oldsmobile Convertible Sport Coupe F-37 Cruiser ready to enjoy! This 1937 Olds has Gorgeous GM Art Deco Styling. 1 of only 90 known to still exist! The body is straight and solid shot in a older Santome Creme Re-Paint. It starts, drives and stops very well. It has a 230CID Flat 6cyl engine with a single Rochester carburetor great on gas. 6v Battery, generator and cloth wiring harness. Old school toilet paper oil filter. The Brass radiator keeps the engine cool. Smooth gear selection is made by 3 on the floor Manual Transmission with synchronized 2nd and 3rd gear.
This Olds F-37 is a lowered ride with drop control arms in the front, and coil over axle and parallel leaf springs in the rear. This upgraded stance gives this classic a wonderfully smooth roadster ride. Brand new Dimond Back 6.00 16R White Wall Radial Tires on freshly powder coated cream 16" Steel rims and original hubcaps. The windshield and the rest of the original flat glass is chip and crack free, roll down and wings open freely. Brand new Aluminum gas tank, filters and lines assures that only fresh fuel has been ran through the carburetor since being put back on the road after being displayed in a dry and climate controlled private collection. The drum brakes were inspected, bled, adjusted, and stop on a dime.
The interior is very comfortable with sold floors covered with green carpet. The split bench seat is wrapped in Chateau Green Naugahyde tuck and roll that matches the door panels, rumble seat, and package tray. The functioning convertible top is rip and tear free with no sag, that said it does show some light signs of wear around the body line. All the garnish trim, Steering Wheel, and dash is in original condition. Solid trunk treated with rubber mats. Re-chromed front bumper and rear bumper. Original grill, side trim, and chrome hood ornament shows well...Overall just a solid Classic Car, See pics!!!
This car is a good driver with clean and clear CA title. Visible Vin and Body Tags. In a nut shell this is a one of a kind classic! Turn the key and go cruise! This is not quite a museum quality car but due to the fact that only 1,618 were originaly produced in 1937, it is extremely rare and should be in one..Any and every-time I drive this car I get nothing but waves, thumbs ups, conversation, I cant come out of a store with out somebody standing there looking in! A fun car for someone to just enjoy as a nice driver or take it to shows not a trailer queen by any means but it's a cool old Olds.Drive as is or restore it, must see to appreciate!!!
