This is one spectacular looking and driving real factory 442 convertible. The suspension nice and tight, no play in the steering well and the brakes work excellent with no pulling to either side when applied hard.

I drove this car on the Florida Turnpike today at 75-80mph

and it drives fabulous....no vibrations and a very smooth driving car.

The transmission shifts excellent and the 455 delivers plenty of power.

Total production of 442 convertibles in 1969 was 2,933

YES...this is a Factory built 442...not a clone or tribute car.

In 1968 & 1969 the muscle car era was at it's Zenith.

While other muscle cars may have outsold the 442, this was one of the verybest muscle cars to come out of Detroit (Lansing), especially when you consider thiscar's fabulous looks, great handling, fabulous ride and excellent performance.

Every carmagazine praised the 442 as one of the best all time muscle cars.

The restoration was started in 2012 and was completed in 2016. The 455 cid V-8and Turbo-Hydramatic transmission are not original to this car but are matching in that they

both came out of another 442 that suffered severe rear end damage. There's approximately2500 miles on this head-snapping 455 V-8 that generates 350+ horsepower.

The AutoSound custom stereo system with 4 speakers sounds terrific...even with the top down at 75mph.

Included is a thick book of receipts that spans a 4 year period (2012-2016)

Everything works including the clock and this 442 drives as good as it looks. It has a great sound when you crank it up....a nice deep throaty rumble that let's you instantly this is no small block motor.

Idrove this car for several miles today and loved every minute...

but this is Florida in the Summer time and rain showers can spring up very quickly....I saw dark ominous clouds about a mile ahead and pulled over. I carefully unsnapped the great fitting top boot and in less than 20 seconds the convertible top was back up and latched down. I hit the power switches for all 4 windows just in time.......the windows all sealed great and although it was a typical Florida downpour the interior stayed nice and dry. It has a new top motorand two new hydraulic top pistons.

The interior and carpeting look great...they should...it's correct & isnew.

The chrome and trim are beautiful...the only thing I found fault with inside the car is the original mirror...thereflective part of the glass is starting to discolor so we ordered an OEM replacement one.

Both doors, the hood and the trunk fit great....when you look down both sides of this car it is straight......a ton of bucks were spent to make this car look and drive the way it does.

We encourage your own personal inspection...or the hiring of your own inspection company.

We are located only 15 minutes from the Ft. Lauderdale International Airport in Pompano

Beach...if you fly into the Ft. Lauderdale Airport, we will be happy to bring you to our PompanoBeach facility for your personal inspection and test drive.

This car was the subject of a very detailed professional appraisal on January 27th, 2016. It was

rated to be in condition 2+ on a 1 -6 rating system. It was stated to have a current value of $55,000. The lengthy nprofessional appraisalwill come with the car.

This car is not PERFECT. Only a Number 1 condition car that has had a very, very expensive nut and bolt restoration or an original very low mileage car that has never been driven in adverse weather and has always been kept indoors in a climatically controlled environment can be considered to be a # 1 car.

On very close examination I could find some minor flaws in the paint...but they are too small to show up- in the photographs.

I know of two gentleman in Pennsylvania who are known world wide for their restorations on 442 Convertibles and W-30 Oldsmobile convertibles or coupes. Their cars are true #1 condition vehicles and sell from $150,000 to as much as $300,000.

This is not that type of car and it's a fraction of the price...but I don't think you will find a better value or a nicer looking and driving car than this one for what ourbuy it now price is.....so give us a call.

Please call(954) 873-6495sowe can give you our "Buy It Now" price as you definitely be very pleasedat how much less youcan have this spectacular 442 Convertible in your garage.
