Car description

1975 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Convertible. White exterior, white leather interior and white top. It has 54,213 original miles. It has been in the same family for 41 years and stored a lot the past 30 years. It was in one minor parking lot accident about 35 years ago and it was professionally repaired. Approximately 15 to 20 years ago we had the car repainted. Everything is in good condition except for what I described above in the condition paragraph. There is a little rust at the bottom of the doors and a few scratches or nicks in the paint. The white convertible top, I assume is vinyl and it has some stitching around the edges that is worn or the vinyl is worn. I haven't seen the roof leak though. The engine is a 350 cu. in. and I don't know what type of carburetor. It runs well after it warms up. The carburetor needs to be rebuilt but it only hesitates when it's cold. But we're all used to fuel-injection, so hesitation is annoying. The gas tank seam is wet according to the mechanic. It's not dripping but he could smell gasoline when he was under the car checking things. As I said above, the mechanic said the carburetor and gas tank would be about $400 each. The brakes, steering and suspension are good. The engine and transmission are fine. It has always been well-maintained. All the lights work and it has passed inspection in 2016 and 2017. It was taken out of storage in 2016 because of a death in the family and we started to think about selling it. I'm going to try to take more pictures and add them to this listing soon. It's located in Leominster, Mass. and it is on the road. We drive it a few times a week.
