Car description

1967 Oldsmobile 442 convertible for sale. Finished in Spanish red (converted from original pewter) with black interior and sitting atop red line radial tires mounted on SS1 rims from Coker Tires. Original 400 motor with a W-30 cam installed by the prior owner and TH-400 transmission with power top and drum power brakes. Recently installed a new power brake booster and master cylinder as well as restored dash panel. This car has been garage kept under cover since I purchased the car in June 2005 and has never seen precipitation of any kind since then. Everything with the exception of the gas gauge is in good working condition. I would feel confident driving this car cross country right now. From a discerning buyers view it is in excellent "driver" condition with an arrow straight body. The interior is also in great condition with no rips or tears anywhere in the carpeting, onvertible top or upholstery. The car of course has that uniquely exceptional throaty Oldsmobile exhaust sound that will get attention of others yet be tame enough to drive through a suburban neighborhood without being overly intrusive on the eardrums. Despite being billed as a "gentlemen's muscle car" back in the day with its 350 horsepower 440 foot pound of torque motor. It could rip a 100 year old oak tree out of the ground. Everything in the car is period correct as this was brought back to stock condition. This is a true Oldsmobile 442 convertible NOT a clone. I have set the reserve price well below the low end $31,000. NADA value for this car. Despite the fact that this is much closer toward high end ($60,000+) condition. So bid confidently as the new owner would get a great car.
