With the early style Nismo injectors we were at 95% duty cycle @93oct. By only increasing the octane level we were able to push more boost safely. If upgraded to higher flowing injectors (Nismo 740cc/Sard 850cc) engine is capable of 600whp with these turbos in this configuration. As my tuner described "these turbos are not maxed out" Vehicle was driven at a conservative 12psi most of the time. I acquired the car at 42k original miles and bone stock except for the Stillen cat-back exhaust and a dead fuel injector. It was owned by a retired navy guy who claimed the car never saw rain and only came out on the weekends. He purchased the vehicle from the original owner's parents who took possession of the car after some financial issues arose. Shortly after purchase I installed early style Nismo 555cc injectors and boost jets with an "off the shelf" Z1 tune. Motor swap performed at 65k due to low compression on cylinder 6. I've driven on this new setup for one year. All worked performed by me (I've owned 3 Z's and have been working on them for over 10 years. I'm ASE certified with a degree in Automotive technology and I worked for Nissan for several years). The car was dyno tuned by Jon at Z1 motorsports in Carrolton GA. The vehicle has the potential for more power with bigger injectors and full 3" exhaust. I have every receipt and repair invoice ever performed including the original window sticker. Previous owner only serviced at Nissan dealers. CONS - Vehicle has a few door dings and two small dents on the top of both front fenders. Nothing a PDR specialist couldn't make disappear and mostly go unnoticed. - Exhaust muffler rattle under boost from a broken weld inside (upgrading to 3" exhaust from downpipes to rear will make a big improvement on performance) - No front turn signal lights installed due to the larger AshSpec intercoolers. (Intercooler pipe kit could be modified slightly to allow room for proper fitment) - Clear coat is starting to fade on the top of the side mirrors and on the rear spoiler. - No cruise control. EXTRAS - Unpainted Stillen GTZ Lip (stock look with a lip)
