Rare & Incredible 1951 Nash Rambler Custom Airflyte Roadster
New to our Benicia showroom is this insanely rare 1951 Nash Rambler Custom Airflyte 2 Door Convertible with green exterior paint and a two-tone brown and burgundy vinyl interior. It features a... GM crate 4.3L V6 engine under the hood with a 700R4 automatic transmission and this amazing classic has been rebuilt with a Mustang II front suspension, a 10-bolt rear end, cold A/C, power steering, power front disc brakes, an insane stereo system by Rad Rides by Troy and a canvas power convertible top. This highly sought after classic is in excellent condition as well and it drives like an absolute dream.
Owned & Built by Gary Meadors, Founder of The Good Guys Events
If this 1951 Nash Rambler Airflyte Roadster looks familiar, that’s probably because it was completely overhauled and enjoyed by the late Gary Meadors, the founder of the Good Guys events across the country. It’s been driven approximately 10,000 miles since the modifications were done and the brakes were updated by Rod Tech; that’s also when Rad Rides by Troy installed the stereo system as well. A close inspection will show only negligible levels of wear over the past few years with a few minor imperfections to be found both inside and out. In person, the gleaming green paint with the gorgeous chrome work will truly take your breath away.
Additionally, this 1951 Nash Rambler Airflyte Convertible runs and drives perfectly thanks to the extensive performance and ride quality upgrades it has received. Given that less than 15,000 of these examples were produced in the early 1950s, this one-off masterpiece likely has no equal on the open market today since it drives like a champion. With outrageous curb appeal and reliable performance, we do not foresee this phenomenal example remaining available for long.
Easily One of the Most Collectible Examples Found Nationwide
Overall, this truly spectacular 1951 Nash Rambler Airflyte Convertible is one of the most desirable examples worldwide due to its spectacular provenance and daily performance. We’ve already received multiple inquiries about this incredible classic so if you’re hoping to own this important piece of classic car history, the time to get in touch with us is now!
