Car description

OVER $100+ worth of new plugs. hoses. belts. filters. cap. rotor and silicone wires (see photo) with BUY IT NOW OPTIONThis listing is for a 1977 MGB Convertible California car with 93. 00mi. 4 spd in good running condition. The car has been on a non-op since 2011. kept in a garage and ran a minimum of once a month to keep in good running order. The fuel pump was recently replaced as it had a minor leak. I purchased this car because I always wanted one and was looking for a driver not a car to completely restore. This car is tight. drives well and really doesn't need much to be used as a driver. I am selling because my wife wasn't exactly thrilled that I bought the car as I have a 1965 VW Bug I am restoring and a 1973 Opel GT I just completed. The Good Runs well Top is in good condition (not perfect) and this is the first year for the zippered rear window 1977 was the first year for front and rear sway bars so car handles better than 75-76 model years Carpet kit was installed. looks great Two sets of keys with original owners manual Pioneer AM/FM Cassette player with two speakers sounds good - don't have a cassette to test Dash clock still works No rust that I could find; very rare for these cars. Body is very straight Original MG luggage rack Interior is in nice original condition Transmission shifts well with good clutch What you should know Dash has many cracks and had a carpet dash mat to cover 6" crack in windshield - see photo Seat velour is thin. I have seat covers that will be included. Ebay has a nice vinyl set for $150 Throttle on carburetor needs new spring as it will idle at 2500RPM Windshield lower weather stripping is coming up (new one included) Car was painted white over original burgundy. Paint looks good from 10 feet. Could be polished and look good as a daily driverIf purchased in California I will NOT be able to provide a smog certification You are welcome to test drive the car but as I mentioned the carburetor and timing need adjustment so that will need to be taken care of prior to driving any long distances; the car has been sitting for 4 years. The car has a clean title (in hand) and is registered as a non-operational vehicle so no back fees from DMV if being registered in California. CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY SO AUCTION CAN END AT ANY TIME. CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS AND WHERE IS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I CAN HELP WITH TRANSPORT AND PLEASE ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS. I WILL DO MY BEST TO RESPOND QUICKLY.
