1966 Comet cyclone GT

Mercury Comet . Cyclone GT. 390 with C6 Select shift. An excellent example of an unrestored one with one repaint sometime ago. Odometer shows around 30k, but I would think it has rolled over. I would give the paint about a 7 on a 1 to 1 scale with 10 being high. Car was originally black. I have not found any evidence of rust on exterior sheet metal, or any rust repair. There is one spot in the corner of drivers foot well next to kick panel. I did not think it was severe enough to get into. That is all I have found. Everywhere else looks great. Interior I believe is original except for drivers seat may have new vinyl. Dash has no cracks and is straight! Instrument bezel has been rechromed. All guages including tach work except for clock. I had it quartzed but doesn't run. (May have hooked up wrong) Most chrome (including bumpers) has been redone. Still has factory wheel covers. Engine runs strong, trans shifts as new. New exhaust with flomasters. New AM/FM radio with new speakers. Power steering and Power brakes. Fairly unusual for these cars.
