1965 Mercury Parklane Breezeway with 300hp. 390 4 bbl. It truly is a barn find. The previous owner kept all documents incuding the window sticker and the optional speed control from the original owner. The odometer says 6500 miles but I have no way to confirm. My the mechanic saidit didn't go over (meaning 100k). The car sat for a few years as you can tell by the fade of the paint but 5 years ago, the second owner did seals, exhaust (flowmasters), power steering, main seal, shocks and many things. WhenI found the car, it still had original bias tires in the rear. I replaced all 4 with whitewall tires. The brakes work like new after bleeding and replacing with new fluid. The fuel pump and belts were replaced and the carburator was rebuilt recently. The AC does not blow cold but it needs a charge. Everything on this car works like new and there is no rust. Thedoors shut with new car thump and the regulators are like new. Interior seat bottoms will need to be redone as it has sun damage. The dash is like new. All electrical works as newand the rear (Breezeway) window works well. The floor carpet was protected so it is like new. The engine bay still has the original insulation. All original. I've looked for this model for a long time and this by far the best unrestored and unmolested one I've seen. And drives like a new car without rattles and noises. There will be no reserve. I am also listing it locally. I will wait for the best offer. Thank you.
