Restored Classic 1969 Mercedes Benz 280 SL Roadster

A gorgeous 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Roadster pagoda classic impeccably restored down to the 2-stage grey undercoating. This investment classic lived her entire life in California beginning with her original owner in San Francisco. She looks and drives like a dream.Engine done by prior owner at International Sports Motors in San Francisco with finish work done by Bavarian Motorwerks and Classic German Workshop in Carlsbad (less than 3500 miles on engine). Body work and paint by SOS Customs in Oceanside. All new rubber seals (windows, doors, engine, grommets). Cognac MB Tek interior by Tony at Autos International in San Diego. All chrome newly triple plated. New brakes (including calipers), turn signal switch, under dash wiring, heater works perfectly (new exchanger, distribution box, lever assembly, cables and switch). Even the windshield washer works!

Always garaged. Automatic transmission, 131,000 miles, both hard and soft tops (hard top has optional chrome rails). Soft top looks new (chocolate brown). New tires. Mercedes original tool kit, books, service records, receipts and 2 sets of keys.
