1973 Mercedes-Benz 450 SL

THE RESERVE IS $2500. 00I HAVE THE CLEAR TITLE/PINK. Registered as Non-Op1973 Mercedes Benz 450 SL. I was told that the engine and transmission have been rebuilt. but I don't know when. The odometer was set back to ZERO (000. 00) when the rebuild was performed. The exterior metal is in excellent condition. The passenger door trim strip is in poor condition and loose. The interior is in need of some restoration. There are just a couple of small rust spots on the car. The engine compartment has no rust. This is a California car! The spare tire compartment in the trunk has a approx. 2 1/2" tear in the sheet metal. The carpet is loose against the transmission hump. There is minor paint repair on the drive side rear wheel well quarter panel. It looks like paint was scraped off and repaired. no bondo. just touch up paint. Very minor. No structural/body damage!I have not attempted to start the car. I'm not a mechanic and have been told that before starting the car that oil should be put in each cylinder to prevent cylinder wall scoring. Oil should be changed and all fluids replaced.
