1981 Mercedes 300TD wagon

Here is a 1981 Mercedes 300TD estate wagon. Ol Klaus here is a stubborn ol boy. Brake system, cooling system, and electrical system have been rebuilt by me. Injectors I rebuilt using Monark German rebuild kits. I was a 22 year Volvo/Benz tech. Made the wagon a reliable daily driver for the Chicago summers. Originally from LA and brought to IL in 2011. The SLS system had been removed before I took delivery of it. A/C and C/C are inop. Everything else works as it should. Some rust has developed. The roof is not rust, looks like bird droppings had peeled the paint and I tried to find something to match it. Tires were replaced last year. Front end (shocks, springs, all rubber, etc) were replaced two years ago. Rear shocks and springs were replaced by with HD parts. Dash has cracks on it. All lights/lamps work. There are engine oil leaks but nothing major. The door locks are sluggish but work. Has original windscreen with some chips and pits. Transmission shifts solid and no slippage. I don't use the wagon as much, rather see it being used for what they were intended for. In the years I have owned it, it's never let me down. Handles highway speeds and passing speeds without any issue.
