Car description |

We are trying to be fair to all buyers and we do not want non paying bidders bidding up cars that an honest person wants to buy, and being bid up by a person who is playing a game with our account and thousands of other accounts in this country. We want to be fair and square to all real potential bidders. Non paying buyers will be reported to eBay. We hope not to have any.Balance is to be paid by check, cash orwire transfer only. Please send us your name and phone number directly through eBay so we can work out the paperwork and delivery afterdeposit has been made. We charge $150 for paperwork and title transfer and 45 daytags are available for $25.
We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer’s Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it’sthe buyer’s responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can’t make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car.
If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer’s responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on the vehicle because they now own it. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 781-763-7447 Ext. 208. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final. All deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you know exactly what you're buying before you bid. Our shipper will get the car to you within 4 days to 2 weeks at a fair price. If you'd like to call him for a price, that would be fine.
All cars left on our lot after 30 days will be charged $18 a day and we hope we never have to collect a dime. But we don't have enough space to store everyone's car after they're paid for. It's the buyer's responsibility to pick up their car that they just purchased. Please remember we are on the buyer's side. Please only bid if you are a real bidder who wants to purchase the vehicle, and again, if you haven't purchased 3 items over the last 3 months we will remove your bid. If you're a zero bidder and you bid at the last second just before the auction ends, the vehicle will be offered to the bidder before you and you will not end up with the vehicle, so you need to call us.
Thank you for looking at our immaculate 1948 Lincoln 4-door. This is the better model, having skirts, footrest in the rear and much more. This car is equipped with a 12 cylinder engine with 3 on the tree. It starts and drives 100% (as a matter of fact, it runs so quiet you can barely even hear it). It also has power windows. These power windows run on hydraulic fluid and they need to be serviced. Even though in the ad I put down "original condition", it did have one repaint over the years, or I'd imagine it wouldn't look as nice as it does. As a matter of fact, the paint job that's on it today is probably nicer than the original one.
The trunk and motor compartment are near perfect. The interior of the car we believe couldn't be much nicer than it is. The underneath of the vehicle is all solid. I'm selling this car for a gentleman that's liquidating his collection. He called the Lincoln club, that has approximately 500 members, to find the value of his car. And based on what they told him, they said it's a $45K to $60K car, and that may be true at an auction or retail setting, but he just wants to sell it, so he listed it well under the actual value.
Hit the Buy It Now or contact me with a reasonable offer and I'll contact the owner to see if he'll accept your offer. All buyers that are interested in this car need to understand how nice it really is. The pictures are not doing it justice because the car is a little dusty, and any dust on a black car will definitely show. If you'd like to see the car in person, please contact me and I'll show you the car so you can inspect it thoroughly. With summertime coming, this car would definitely bring a lot of attention at any car show you'd bring it to. We'd like very much to make a deal with a serious buyer.
