1985 Lincoln ContinentalVery Good Original ConditionNo Reserve
This wonderful cars' original owner lived out west, so there is no rust whatsoever !Owner born in 1932, this purchase was her first new car so it was never abused.Retired then relocated to Alabama having to give up driving last year.
Documented History from Original Owner.Bill of Sale & Maintenance Records since Day 1 from original Lincoln Dealer.Being a fanatic she would bring in the car for the slightest complaint, so well maintained.Mechanically excellent such as motor, transmission, tires, brakes and other items almost new.Receipts for items as belts, water pump, flushing injectors, muffler, tail pipe, ignition module, rotors, alternator...the list goes on, she was fanatical.On6/17 over $1,400 for new a/c and misc. items.
I have taken her to cruise-ins & car shows showing Second Place in Original Unrestored Class. She is fun to drive and would not hesitate driving her cross country.
Just a thought of some history for the design...This Lincoln Continental is the first (and currently only) to wear the "Continental" trunklid of the Mark Series. It shared the wheelbase & powertrain with the Mark VII introduced in the 1984 model year. The sloping decklid was lettered "Continental" instead of "Lincoln" as was the Versailles and Mark. The "bustle back" decklid drew inspiration from the Lincoln Zephyr of the 1930's.This design was less extreme than the Seville and proved much more appealing to the buyer.
