They have not been serviced (unless otherwise specified). detailed. or fixed up for retail sale. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I try to accurately describe any mechanical issues to the best of my ability. but I am not a mechanic. Please understand that these are used vehicles. They are not perfect. I want you to have accurate expectations about what you are buying so you can bid with confidence. Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a very nice older Town Car with some rare options. This car has a dark green La Panache landau top. the nicest top you could get in the 90s. It has the Evergreen Frost Metallic paint and full-green interior. It is a bold combination. and not for everyone. I think it looks great. the previous owner obviously did. and I’m sure there are a few others out there that will love it. too. As you cen see in the pictures. the body of this car is clean and straight. There are no dents. scrapes. or rusty holes. The metallic paint sparkles nicely in the sun. There are a few blemishes. mostly on the panel between the headlight and the hood. The La Panache top looks good. These were the highest quality landau top you could get and they hold up much well. The top of this car is not curling or torn. The factory alloy wheels look good and are wrapped in a good set of tires with plenty of tread all around. The doors and truck all close securely and the trunk auto-open and auto-closer work as they should. The interior is a rich. dark green. The seats are luxurious leather that is comfortable and inviting. These seats are like sitting in your recliner at home. The carpets. headliner. and dash are all a matching dark green and in very nice shape. There is a set of matching floormats in the trunk. Like all Town Cars. this one has all the power options: power windows. locks. mirrors. and seats; all work like they should. The stereo works well. but the power antenna doesn’t always extend or retract without a little help. The digital instruments option is nice and it includes a distance to empty and mpg readout. The heater gets nice and warm and works on all the positions. but the fan only works on high. This car drives very nicely. I am a fan of these cars. so whenever I have one. it tends to be what I drive. I put some miles on this car over the holidays and I have no complaints about how it drives. The V8 engine fires up easily and makes plenty of power. The automatic transmission is smooth. The steering is smooth and easy. The potentially problematic air suspension has been replaced with conventional coil springs. They ride just as smooth. The brakes stop quickly. This car has dual exhaust. It is still nearly silent. but allows the engine to breath a lot easier. The extra horsepower is noticable when you really step on the gas. This Lincoln has a current PA annual inspection good through the end of April. 2014. If you have any questions. feel free to shoot me a message.
