1958 Lincoln convertible

This 1958 Lincoln Convertible is one of many cars of a collection I will be selling for a friend who's husband has passed. Up for sale we have a 1958 Lincoln Continental Convertible that is well on its way for a full restoration. So far there has been over $30k invested into this car and someone that loves these ole Lincolns will have a great start with having so much of the hard and expensive part of restoring cars like this out of the way! The majority of the parts removed have already undergone restoration and sitting on shelves along with many good new and used parts acquired for restoring this beauty. This was a complete running/driving automobile when it was purchased in 2012. Here are some of the expensive parts purchased so far;- complete engine rebuild- trans has been gone through and ready- carburetor kit- fuel pump- convertible cylinders and pump- new convertible top- new brakes- new bake lines- new rug kit/trunk kit- rebuilt rearend (gears are done with new bearings) axles still need installed brakes etc..- bushing kit-shocks- deluxe steering wheel covers and spinner- sill plates- weather strip- most hardware removed has been professionally plated- exhaust- new tires/wheels ordered from Coker Tire- lincoln decal set- steering gear box- all the bumpers and have been re-chromed- and lots more....
This was a one owner car prior to being purchased in 2012. I have a stack of receipts and labor totaling $24k not including the cost of the car. This car is being sold as a project and will need lots more work. The car is very solid with very little rust. The reserve is set way below what has been invested so please bid with confidence as this classic needs to go to a good home. Thank you
