Car description

1978 Lincoln Continental Town Coupe
VIN 8Y81S930726
A very original and clean example with believed to be 59,000 original miles. Excellent colors, midnight blue with a dove grey landau top and blue interior. I have gone to great lengths to make this car a reliable cruiser and have very much enjoyed my year of ownership.
-Well Equipped with the 460 V8, Large Sunroof, CB radio, as well as the many standard features offered with this Lincoln.-Mechanically excellent. Over $3000 spent in the last year to make this car road trip ready. These repairs included: New Carb, Tune up, lot's of old gaskets and seals replaced, thermostat, brake booster, starter, and an AC system overhaul.-Stereo has been upgraded to modern system with great sound and Auxiliary input while appearing stock.- Car is in beautiful original condition. I believe the paint to be mostly original with only some touch up here and there over the years. Overall the paint presents very well, but has some minor fading, scratches and blemishes you would expect of an original car this age. Chrome is excellent, as well as the interior.
Below is a video I made last year of the car highlighting its features and the benefits of land yacht ownership. Please note the sluggish starter shown in the video has since been replaced.

I have a clean title in hand ready for sale. I did not include the offer option with my ad because I feel I am pricing it at a very reasonable amount to sell quickly. $9000 is what I paid for this fantastic Lincoln last year, and I invested over $4000 on top of that shipping it home and making improvements. Given the cars desirable color scheme and options, I felt like I got a great deal for it a year ago, and it's now even better.
Thanks for looking and happy to field any questions!
