Car description

1989 Land Rover Ninety (Defender 90), 2nd owner since 2005 at around 40000miles, has 79800miles now.
An original Left Hand Drive (LHD) vehicle, powered by it's original 2.5 Turbo Diesel engine and 5 speed manual LT77 gearbox.
Upgraded to powersteering in 2007. And repainted in Epsom Metallic Green (British Racing Green) in 2005 when i bought it from the first owner.
It has a very rare fiberglass hardtop from the 1997 Eastnor Edition (similar to 1994 NAS version but without the holes in the roofpanel for external rolecage), which makes this a hard top convertible. Not to be confused with a regular hard top, which has the safetybelts mounted on the hardtop and has a full size tailgate.
This Land Rover has safetybelts mounted on special brackets and a 2-part tailgate, making it road legal even with the hard top removed.

Walk around video
A number of things have been replaced over the years including but not limited to:

-Heavy duty clutch pressure assembly, disk, master and slave cylinder -Full exhaust pipes and silencers
-Power steering (complete with steering box, pump, enginebracket, pipings and fluidreservoir)-Brake booster, master- and slave cylinders
-Boost alloy wheels and general grabber tyres and 30mm wheelspacers
-Fuel injectors and injector pipes
-Fuel injector pump and lift pump
-Distribution belt (at 60000miles in 2011)
-Heavy duty tubular winch bumper
-convertible safetybelt mounting brackets
-Eastnor Edition fiberglass hardtop
-complete rear tub cappings (satin black)
-rear light cluster corners (satin black)
-rear quarter panels (satin black)
-Td5 steering wheel
-All lighting
-door wheather strips
-All filters and motoroil were replaced 300 miles ago (august 2018).

The bulkhead is in very good condition. The paint at the front end is still very nice, but from the doors to the back it could use a new paintjob
Front doorbottoms have rustholes at the underside, only visible when looking from directly under (see pictures), so could eventualy benefit from a pair of new doors, or have them welded.

It's a 30 year old Land Rover, so obviously not gonna be like new, it's rare to find a solid original 2.5 turbo diesel that wasn't swapped to a 200tdi or 300tdi, so i always take it easy to keep it that way.
