1991 Land Rover Defender 110 200TDI

1991 Land Rover 110 200TDI 2 Door.
RHD, recently imported from the UK.
This Defender110 ispowered by the 200TDI engine. It has a 5-speed manual transmission which transmits the power through a 2 speed (Hi and low) transfer box with a locking center differential with permanent 4-wheel drive.
The body is aluminum on top of a steel chassis.The Defender is much loved for its rugged construction, simple mechanics and all round basic simplicity.
This Defender has been tastefully modified by the previous owner. It has been given a 2" lift over the standard ride height. It is fitted with Boost alloy wheels and over-size Hankook DynaPro tyres. Exterior modifications also include rock sliders, a roof bar for mounting spot lights and a snorkel air intake. It has a winch bumper on the front with a WinchMax winch mounted. the winch is new and has never been used. It is currently disconnected, it just requires wiring up. Other heavy duty exterior protection includes a sump guard and chequer plating.

It has a swing away carrier for mounting the spare wheel on the back. This is new, although unfortunately it does not have a spare wheel.

The all round condition is good with no corrosion and the bulkhead is in excellent condition. It has recently been repainted bright white to a good standard. The interior load area is carpeted with rubber mating on the floor. The front seats have been replaced with leather sports seats out of a Toyota Celica. These seats are very supportive and suit the driving position well. An auxillary switch panel has been mounted to the dashboard which includes the kill switch and wiring for the winch which is not connetced. It also contains the head unit which includes a media interface. The stereo system includes an addition amplifer, 6x9 speakers and a sub-woofer.

It has covered 191,000 miles, however it appears to be well maintained. The engine pulls strongly with no smoke and it shifts smoothly. It takes up drive with very few knocks and cronks which indicates the drivetrain is still quite tight and well maintained.

This Land Rover is not yet titled in New York. It comes with the UK Title (V5) and the importation documents required to title it in which ever state you require. I am happy to assist with titling the vehicle in New York state if that is where you are based.
