vehicle summary
This truck was built in 2017. I've recently moved to New Hampshire and don't have a permanent home in Colorado for this vehicle, so sadly it must find a new owner. I have built many Jeeps and I am sad to let it go. The truck has been extensively gone through and I did not spare expense. I build custom 4x4 vans for a living and all of my daily drivers stop people, but this is the most popular vehicle I've ever driven.

exterior

The truck was originally light blue metallic, vehicle came from Southern Colorado and had basically no rust, we replaced a small section of passenger bed, hood was replaced from hail, and front end was swapped with oem 2001 Cherokee parts, except for turn signals which are aftermarket smoke. The rear bumper was swapped out for oem 2001 Cherokee, and we custom fit the bumper caps. The tailgate handle needs some clips replaced, but opens and closes, clearing bumper neatly. It has bushwhacker fender flares which literally took a full day to fit properly. The bed was cleaned and shot at local line-x shop.

Paint on this vehicle is BASF, it resembles forestry green, but in person looks a little different, this paint code is Auratium green from a 1956 Porschespeedster, and it's beautiful, super deep gloss and it laid down perfectly. The jambs and under-hood are done, firewall and engine compartment fenders remain blue. The doors were not removed for jamb shooting, so it's passable up by the hinges, but generally they look really nice too and feel original. The doors open and close easily, fitment on everything is really remarkably good. Everything else was cleared and stripped down, so over-sprayis quite minimal.

Wheels are JK I believe, like 2009 Wrangler and in fair shape, missing 2 center caps, 3" spacers used to get correct offset, left rear wheel needs 1 stud replaced, but it's safe to drive on anywhere, lug nuts a little unsightly, that's an easy fix. The windshield and molding are new, windows freshly tinted 3m, rear window slider does not have a lock, doesn't leak and not obviously easy to get into, spare tire is in bed, carrier drop is broken, tire holds air but has a cut.

interior

Cabin was stripped thoroughly, cleaned including behind doors, new padding and new carpet laid down. Upholstery faces and headliner re-done in dead stock 1960s or 70s Chevy fabric, and it feels period inside. The dash is in good shape, don't think there's any cracks, it smells nice. We swapped stereo and wired up amp and sub, and nice stereo with new speakers, the audio system really sounds excellent, think the amp and sub box could stand to be mounted a little better. There's a few little interior quirks, trim lights above seat belts in back are loose, passenger female seat belt receiver needs bolted in, and window crank knobs come loose unless you hold them just right. Please buy some floor mats to keep the carpet nice. I have the original manual in poor shape, and we have the factory build sheet we found behind one of the rear panels, bagged it up and kept in glovebox, super cool item.

build / mech / misc

I went through this thing like I planned to keep it. The lift is rough country, done by Bach's crawlers in Monument, CO. It has all new tie-rods and adjustment sleeves up front, new front brake rotors and pads, rear brakes are excellent, has new fluids in diffs, t-case and checked trans fluid. Catalytic converter is new, undercarriage shown in photos, minor seepage, but not puking anything, doesn't stink when you're driving it. The drive belt is good, has new spark plugs and wires, oil has about 1000 miles on it.

There's a few little details that need wrapped up, left front turn signal either doesn't have correct power input or needs ground fixed or re-wired, I just didn't have time to look at it. The shifter needs a spacer or extension kit, because it bumps the body when you reverse and can pop out. I replaced the steering column and the horn button contacts need adjusted a little, horn works but is un-plugged. Cruise is inop. (I can send wiring diagrams for these items, these trucks aren't very complicated) I think that's it, I try to be detailed withthese things, the truck runs perfect, no funny lights, easy to drive for a lifted jeep, clutch is fine, never gets hot or acts odd, I've put about 3000 miles on it since build. It's easy to drive and has decent power for an ol' 4.0 with big shoes, 4x4 works like a charm.

Basically this rig is like 99% there, if I had just a day to devote to it, she'd be completely sorted. If you have a little time to work with, I can probably take care of all the little minor details mentioned, I just need to be motivated. The truck is currently with my father in Parker, CO, and you're welcome to schedule a look, just call me. I've always been fortunate to find good homes for my vehicles and hope this one finds one as well. Call with ?s, Tim 720 515 0427 - Timberline Vans
